Everything is measured, even the way in which countries give importance to respect for each other and to compassion between fellow citizens!
To find the “most attentive societies”, a German company started from very specific factors divided into three large families: philanthropy, which includes social security coverage, the financing of public services or international donations; equality, where it is a question of health care but also of education, equality and the rights of minorities; and support for families. In 2021, the top three countries were the Netherlands, Canada and Finland. According to these criteria, France arrived in nineteenth position, with – surprise! figures sometimes say things you don’t see – three strengths: social security benefits, childcare and education.
