Do nothing
If you call free time dead time, you probably feel like you’re wasting a bit of your life.
“Doing nothing”, indeed, can be very distressing. It’s not “taking time for yourself”, it’s simply…doing nothing. At most sit on the terrace of a cafe and wait. What? Nothing…During your day, stop from time to time. Sit in a corner of the kitchen, on a bench, lie down on your bed looking at the ceiling. Experience the present moment by telling yourself, “I’m not doing anything.”
Benefit: these moments of “psychic fallow” allow you to break with the daily rhythm and let the mind wander. Doing nothing is a way to open yourself up to new ideas, to listen to your intuitions.
